Penny Creek PTA Spring Clothing Drive
Clean out your closet and support Jackson High School Class of 2025 Grad Night! We are helping them collect gently used clothing for their fundraiser. Your donation will help provide a safe night for the students celebrating their graduation.
Clothing can be dropped off in the office foyer before or after school in black or white garbage bags April 8-May 3. All items must be clean and in sellable condition.
Fill Up Your Cup with Skinny D's Yogurt Day
Stop by Skinny D’s Yogurt anytime between 11:30am - 10:30pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 for some refreshing frozen yogurt. Mention “Penny Creek PTA” at checkout and 20% of your purchase will go directly to our PTA.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Join us in celebrating Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, May 6th-10th.
Here are a few ideas on how to show our teachers and staff appreciation:
Monday 5/6: Write a note
Tuesday 5/7: Give a compliment
Wednesday 5/8: Bring a sweet treat or drink for your teacher
Thursday 5/9: Wear your teacher’s favorite color
Friday 5/10: High five any teacher you see at school
Applebee's Dine Out
Join Penny Creek Elementary for breakfast at Applebee’s. Vouchers are $12 each and include pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee, milk, juice, and soft drinks. Eat in person or take it to go. Dine in orders will be served by PCE 4th graders. Applebee’s will donate 50% of voucher sales to the PTA, proceeds will go to funding next year’s camp costs for our current 4th graders.
4th Grade Read-a-thon for 5th Grade Camp
4th grade Read-a-thon will be held on June 7, 2024 during the school day. Donations will be used to lower camp costs for all students and chaperones. More information to be sent home in the coming months.
Family Night Out with the AquaSox
Join us for Family Night Out with the AquaSox on June 8, 2024 at 7:05pm!
Tickets are $14 per person (students may redeem their AquaSox Reading voucher). We have reserved a section of seats for PCE families.
Order forms will go home with students and are due by 5/31/2024.
Ice Skate Night at Angel of the Winds
Join us for an evening of FREE ice skating on April 26, 2024 at Angel of the Winds Arena! Due to a limited number of skates and ice capacity, skaters must reserve a free skate spot during ONE of the event time periods (5-6 or 6:15-7:15pm)

McTeacher's Night
Join us for McTeacher’s Night and see your PCE teachers and staff “working” at McDonald’s. 20% of all sales at this McDonald’s location during this event will be donated to our PCE PTA! In addition, if you buy McDonald’s cookies from your favorite PCE staff during this time, 100% of your purchase will be donated to our PTA.

Spring Book Fair
The Book Fair is coming back to Penny Creek Elementary during Spring conference week.
Dates: March 25-March 29
Students may shop during lunch recess, Monday-Friday. Families may shop together after school during conference hours, Monday-Thursday. Please note, the book fair will NOT be open Friday after school.
